Administrative & Program Updates

1. Staffing support – down to 1 out of 4
   1. Filling in for administrative tasks: Frances Zielonka zielofr@uw.edu is providing fiscal and HR support
   2. Interviewing part time temporary staff for advising and admin assistant positions this week
      1. Admin assistance: DSP likely to get 2 hours per week
      2. Advising assistance: not clear yet
   3. DSP Academic Services Director, Kat Eli, is covering all DSP advising, in combo with Joanne and Heather
2. Endowments Updates
   1. DSP will offer the Greenberg undergraduate scholarship for AY 2026-2027
   2. Will offer Harlan Hahn awards this year
3. Reimbursements
   1. Heather will be reaching out to last year’s HH awardees for copies of email correspondence to recreate paper trails of notifications and acceptance
4. DSP Program Review updates
   1. Self-study received feedback from review organizers and Divisional Dean; final report submitted

• Email went out with Committee Roster
• Still working on drafting policy regarding requiring peer teaching observation of temporary instructors and submission of DSP teaching evaluations including quantitative and qualitative feedback; hope to have that for review early Sp quarter
