JSIS and LSJ are offering a new full quarter Study Abroad Program on Human Rights & Social Inclusion in the EU and Italy in Spring, 2025. This program will focus on human rights advocacy and implementation from the perspective of gender, disability, and age, and it will provide JSIS and LSJ students the opportunity to earn 15 credits, including their capstone requirements. Student will take two regular seminar courses (Human Rights Legal Advocacy and Disability & Aging in Europe) and choose one of two options for a Task Force/Applied Legal Clinic course that is either in partnership with the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities regarding access to health for older women with disabilities or in partnership with UN HABITAT that focuses on assessing Rome as an inclusive city (Program description attached).
