Scott Bellman serves as director of the Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology (DO-IT) Center at the University of Washington, and director of diversity and inclusion at the UW Center for Neurotechnology. His interests include the career development of students with disabilities, access to challenging postsecondary programs and careers, and the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of society. Scott attended the University of Iowa, where he received a master’s degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling and a degree in psychology. He is an editor of the book Perspectives of STEM Students with Disabilities and has published numerous articles sharing work that elevates disabled people’s voices and promotes inclusion, diversity, and equity.
