E.T. Russian will report back from the 2017 Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity sponsored by the University of Hawaii.  They are a recipient of a 2017 Harlan Hahn Fund grant in Disability Studies for this research project.

 

This report back asks What does it mean to hold an elite conference on indigenous land? What is the responsibility of organizers to prioritize access? What does it mean to have disability services commercialized for profit?
