The Disability Studies Class of 2024 will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2-4pm. The Convocation ceremony will be held in the beautiful Petersen Room on the 4th Floor of Allen Library, UW Seattle, and will be live streamed on Zoom.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION FOR THE EVENT:

  • Allen Library building accessibility page (link).

  • Entrance: Red Square entrance has ramp access with a door paddle. An accessible route through the library runs through room 102. Allen ground floor entrances have paddles. Accessible route to elevators is the shortest via the Allen ground floor entrances.

  • Petersen Room is mobility-aid accessible but has carpeting.

  • Cupcakes & beverages will be served during the reception in Petersen Room. There will be vegan and gluten free cupcake options.

  • We ask that attendees wear masks when not eating or drinking.

  • There will be seating for about 80 attendees, including some arm chairs. 

  • CART captioning will be available in both the Zoom meeting and Petersen Room.
